 Subject: September 11 and Incurious Bush

Imagine you're the President of USA. A commercial airliner with a potential capacity of 250+ people just crashed into a skyscraper that can hold over 100,000 people (each tower was so large, it had its own zip code).
Even out of plain respect, you cancel your photo-op! My God! He did not.
Less than 20 minutes later, a second plane hits. It is now clear the country you command is under attack. There is no reason to believe the attacks have stopped. And in fact, two more planes were still unaccounted for. Do you:
a] Excuse yourself to find out who is attacking you and order a response?
b] Continue with your photo-op in a classroom full of children where you might be a target?
Earlier this year, President Bush said, "Had we of known we would be attacked on 9/11, we would have moved heaven & Earth to prevent it." - April 13, 2004
Problem with that statement is that on the morning of 9/11, he did know we were under attack, and not only did he not "move heaven & Earth", he didn't even move his hind-quarters out of his chair.
No one expected the President to grab a firehose and rush into a burning tower, but it would have been nice if he at least made sure there weren't more attacks coming and what, if anything, could be done about it.
Think about how you reacted on 9/11? Wasn't your first instinct to try and find what was going on? Not "Incurious Bush".
